The Jingmen-Wuhan 1000kV AC transmission and transformation project passes through Jingmen, Tianmen, Xiaogan, Wuhan, and Huanggang cities with an investment of about 6.5 billion yuan. The main construction of the project include the construction of a new 1000kV Wuhan substation, the expansion of the 1000kV Jingmen substation, and the construction of a double-circuit 1000kV line of 238 kilometers.
